Last night I took my darling kiddos to LEGO Kidsfest! It was so much fun – a night of playing with LEGO bricks? Um YES PLEASE!
Every year LEGO has a fun traveling convention – LEGO KidsFest! So many LEGO fans and fanatics to play with LEGO bricks, compete in LEGO contests and tournaments, and see some of the coolest LEGO creations!
… like a lifesize version of Lightning McQueen from Disney’s Cars movies!
Or act like a princess in a Cinderella Pumpkin Carriage made entirely of DUPLO blocks!
Even a LEGO man himself!
The kids had an amazing time. It was awesome to introduce the twins to LEGO. They have always played with DUPLO blocks, but I know that they (especially Dylan) would love the smaller version so they could get more detailed. Dylan is very much an analytical sort. He can do 100 piece puzzles like nothing – and he’s only 3! Riley is my creative spirit. She loves to paint, draw, and go with a free-form style with using DUPLO blocks. So to go to a place that appeases BOTH of their tendencies simultaneously is, well, pretty fabulous.
You can STILL go! LEGO Kidsfest is open today and tomorrow (Oct 12-13) at the Portland Convention Center. Go grab tickets BEFORE you head over – and take the MAX if you can (sooo much easier)! They will also be heading to Hartford CT in December!
DON’T MISS OUT: Tickets are available for all remaining sessions. However, sessions will sell out. Purchase your tickets now to ensure admission to the session of your choice.
NOTE: No tickets are available at the door for any session listed as “Sold Out.”
